Origins: This wax fabric, called Ankara in West Africa and Kitenge in East and Central Africa, was bought on a trip through Kenya. This distinct red and black print is specifically from Mombasa and was bought at a locally-owned shop there.
How to style: Wear loose over jeans, tied at the waist, or open as a swimsuit cover up
How to care: Machine wash on cold, do not iron. The fabric will soften over time with use.
